Committed to austerity measures in KP, vows Kakakhel

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa caretaker provincial minister for Information and Auqaf Barrister Feroz Jamal Kakakhil has said that the provincial government is committed to implement austerity measures, adding that the current economic condition did not allow lavish expenses.
Barrister Feroz Jamal Kakakhil has also taken notice of a tender issued for the lavish spending of money for the food of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee to be visited Peshawar for moon sighting.
The minister has also sought a report from the secretary of the auqaf department about the tender issued for the above-mentioned committee food arrangements.
Expensive food for officials in the government committees would not be allowed, he added the government departments should organize the events with simplicity and cut their extra expenses.
The provincial minister further said that the caretaker government is the trustee of every single pie of the taxpayers and does not allow anyone to use government resources freely.
