MARDAN: A special committee to guide students for scholarships has been established in Women University Mardan. Women University Mardan Vice chancellor Dr Ghazla Yasmeen formed the committee on Wednesday. She said that Women University has been established to promote literacy among females. In order to keep pace with the ever growing literacy rate in developed countries, we need to extend the scope of education by offering it to females in rural or peripheral areas and provide them the environment in which they can feel at home.
