PESHAWAR
Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Education Rehmat Salam Khattak has said that the PC-1 for the construction of the Institute of Petroleum Technology Karak building will be approved soon.
He said that the institute would play a key role in imparting modern technical education to students of the province as the provincial government would laced it with modern equipment and all available resources would be utilized for the state-of-the art building.
He expressed these views while speaking as the chief guest at the scholarship check distribution ceremony at the Institute of Petroleum Technology Karak organized by the department concerned.
Managing Director (MD) Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Fazal Ghaffar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Mehmood Khan, Project Director Mohsin Mulk and other officials participated in the event.
Addressing the event, CM Aide Rehmat Salam Khattak said that a meeting with Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) officials has been scheduled regarding the provision of equipment for the Institute of Petroleum Technology Karak.
Rahmat Salam said that all possible steps would be taken for the successful launch of the institute in the district, adding that merit based policies need to be implemented for the better future of the students of the institute.
Later on, CM Advisor on Education also distributed scholarship checks among the talented students of the institute.
