Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said Tuesday innocent policeman Kamal Ahmed’s unfortunate demise on Monday night proves PTI Chairman Imran Khan is a ‘terrorist’.
In a statement, Rana Sanaullah said Imran, Sheikh Rashid and their supporters were responsible for Kamal’s death.
A policeman was gunned down during a raid in Lahore on Monday night at the house of a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) worker.
Kamal Ahmad, a police constable, was killed during an operation in Lahore’s Model Town locality last night after an unidentified person opened fire on him, police said.
In his statement, the interior minister said those who announced “Khooni march (blood protests)” will be held accountable for it. He said firing incident on police proved PTI was not going to be peaceful during its ‘Azaadi March’.
“They are conspiring to create chaos, civil war in country,” the interior minister said, adding that PML-N led coalition government will stop PTI from ‘creating unrest in the country’ at any cost.
