PESHAWAR
On the special invitation of tribal belt youth, Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Hassan Azhar Hayat on Monday participated in a grand tribal youth convention.
According to a statement, the convention was organized by Qabail Youth Organization in Warsak.
More than 700 youth, including women attended the convention.
Addressing the participants of the event, Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Hassan Azhar Hayat lauded the role played by tribal belt against terrorism and hoped that the youth of the tribal areas will change the fate of their areas with their hard work.
On this occasion, the Corps Commander Peshawar also announced a special package for the education of tribal youth.
The tribal youth paid a special tribute to the role of the Pakistan Army in the construction and development of the tribal region and vowed to fight alongside the force to root out the menace of terrorism.
They also praised Pakistan Army’s initiatives for education, health, peace and construction and development. Later, Lieutenant General Hassan Azhar Hayat distributed awards to the tribal students who showed outstanding performance.
“We stand side by side with the tribal people and the youth of Pakistan Army to end terrorism. “All of us together with the Pakistan Army will make this country great,” the participants added.
