ISLAMABAD : Minister for energy Omar Ayub has said country is facing energy mix due to ill-conceived policies of previous governments.
“we are facing energy mix due to wrong polices of erstwhile governments. We are taking such steps that electricity will be provided to the consumers at better rates”, he said this while addressing inauguration ceremony of Electric Charging station here Wednesday.
He vowed to put leash on environmental pollution in line with the Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan vision. Pakistan is making headway in energy sector on fast track basis. The steps taken for supply of fuel on modern lines in the country are highly laudable. Smart lock down proved the best strategy. The equipment required to contain corona virus was prepared during corona situation.
He went on to say we are providing 850 megawatt to K-Electric as against the agreement of 650 megawatt. K-Electric tariff is lower than other parts of the country. We are taking all ;possible steps for the consumers of Karachi.
