Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has observed that people and economy has pushed back miles owing to ongoing tussle, fight for attainment of power, political instability, unrest and uncertainty.
From Khyber to Karachi, he added, the same film has been played. Shah asked: “Is the country affordable for this vicious game”?
Faiq while talking to the media here on Sunday warned the present situation is inviting forces to impose martial law in the country.
He maintained all responsibility will be rested upon the politicians, if martial law could be imposed.
He made it clear that nothing will gain everyone in this war of attaining power. But, he added, the country and its people will receive colossal damages.
A storm of non-civilization, immorality and misadministration has reached its peak in the country, Shah noticed.
Today, he observed that the People’s Republic of China since the last 75 years, which is the all-weather friend of Pakistan, has consolidated its strong position in the world after strengthening its economy, defence and gaining tremendous progress.
When we compare Pakistan with China, it stands at the same location and equation in the context of democracy and economy which was back in 75 years, as only poverty, population, ignorance and illiteracy is increasing rapidly in the country, he noticed.
On the other hand, he said neighbors have also gained advancement and progress on a fast-track basis.
However, he lamented that our country has neither promoted democracy nor brought change in living standards of the common man.
He noticed only a powerful elite has originated, which has looted and destroyed the country with both hands. He asked the elite to give an answer to questions of the people.
He continued to say that lessons haven’t been learnt from past mistakes but only drama has been staged to attain power.
The ATP chairman urged the institutions to play their proactive role to pull the country out from present crisis situations.
He asked to deliver justice to people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh as well as rest parts of the country.
Furthermore, he emphasized the country’s resources should be enhanced at an optimal level in order to pull out the country from crise by addressing the key issues of 220 million people of Pakistan and uplift their living standards.
He called upon the competent, honest people and youth to come forward.
He claimed that ATP is the only political force, which is having a manifesto, objectives and strategy, if the party conceived plan would be implemented then the country may be pulled out from the present crisis situations.
