Country, not PTI, suffering loss due to delay in elections: Asad Umer

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) issued a white paper on the failed economic policies of the government. Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf ( PTI ) leader Asad Umer said on Tuesday the country was facing severe challenges due to the postponement of the elections.
In his statement, he said the purpose behind the issuance of the white paper was to provide information to the people regarding the economy. Earlier, PTI issued white paper on the state of affairs of the economy.
Mentioning the incumbent government’s performance, he added the economic situation had become gloomy and the Pakistan Democratic Movement was getting unpopular because it did not represent the wishes of the people. Asad Umar said that the daily use items, including POL products, flour and ghee, have been increased by 200 percent. He said that the country, not the PTI, is facing the losses due to a delay in the elections.
Former finance minister Shaukat Tareen said that the PML-N government has increased the rupee value by 30 percent artificially and as a result, exports decreased. “The country has suffered a loss of US$10 billion due to the policies of the government.
