ISLAMABAD : Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad has accepted the plea of Asif Ali Zardari seeking exemption from attendance in the court for one day in Park Lane reference.
The case came up for hearing before AC court room No 2 Islamabad led by judge Azam Khan Thursday.
NAB requested the court that it wanted to present more documents it has acquired from witness Nabil Zahoor, vice president National Bank of Pakistan.
NAB prosecutor told the court one document was omitted to be attached with reference book , therefore, permission be granted to present it.
The defence counsel while opposing the NAB plea for presenting new documents requested the court to reject NAB request.
The second witness of NAB SECP officer Ahsan Aslam did not appear.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till August 18.
