Court extends interim bail of KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur

Faisal Rashid, Additional district and sessions judge Rawalpindi has extended interim bail of Chief Minister (CM) KP Ali Amin Gandapur for further three days.
The interim bail has been extended in the case registered against him in connection with interference in government affairs and other clauses.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case on exemption from attendance plea of Ali Amin Gandapur.
Malik Muhammad Faisal advocate counsel for Ali Amin Gandapur took the plea in written application filed by him in the court that Ali Amin Gandapur is unable to attend the court due to official pre-occupations. Therefore, his exemption from attendance is required.
The court while accepting the plea extended interim bail till May 18.
Nasir Abad police had registered case on March 19 last year alleging that Punjab government had imposed section 144 due to law and order situation on the occasion of appearance of former chairman PTI in sessions court Islamabad.
PTI local leaders including Ali Amin Gandapur along with PTI workers gathered on motorway toll plaza for reception of PTI founder and they chanted slogans against the government. They blocked the road and started interfering in government affairs.
The court had approved interim bail of Ali Amin Gandapur on April 16.
