Court orders to freeze assets of accused in Kohistan financial scandal

Accountability Court (AC) has ordered to freeze the assets of the accused persons in Kohistan financial scandal.
The applications seeking freezing of the assets of two persons accused in Kohistan financial scam came up for hearing before judge Rajab Ali Monday.
The court accepted NAB pleas.
The court while ordering to freeze assets of both of the accused persons endorsed NAB orders.
During the hearing of the case, NAB prosecutor told the court accused Mamtaz Khan and Muhammad Riaz are involved in Kohistan financial scam. NAB KP is investigating into financial scam of billion of rupees in respect of Kohistan. The accused have 7 luxury vehicles and different properties in Islamabad. The accused have constructed farm houses, homes and flats in the name of Benamidars in Islamabad.
NAB prosecutor further told the court DG NAB has already ordered to freeze the assets. It is requested to court to endorse orders of DG NAB.
The court while accepting pleas endorsed the NAB orders to freeze the assets of both of the accused persons.
