ISLAMABAD: District and Sessions court Islamabad has reserved judgment in defamation case of Rs 1 10 billion by federal minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal against PTI leader Murad Saeed. The date for releasing the decision has also been given. Additional and Sessions Judge Muhammad Shabbir Bhatti reserved the judgment of the case which will be announced on May, 20, 2025. Counsels for Ahsan Iqbal and Murad Saeed appeared in the court during the hearing of case. The court had reserved judgment following completion of arguments from respondents. Ahsan Iqbal had recorded his statement by appearing in the court. It is pertinent to mention here Ahsan Iqbal has filed Rs 10 billion defamation case against Murad Saeed for leveling charges of corruption against the federal minister in Sukkar-Multan Motorway project.
