Money laundering case
LAHORE
The court has summoned Prime Minister (PM) Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz on next hearing for indictment in Money laundering case.
Money laundering case filed by FIA came up for hearing before Judge Ijaz Awan of Special Central Court (SCC) Saturday.
Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz did not appear in the court.
The counsel said Hamza Shahbaz is suffering from severe back pain. Shahbaz Sharif could not come due to poor weather while the doctors have advised him not to travel by road.
FIA Prosecutor said there is objection over exemption plea of Hamza Shahbaz but there is no objection over the exemption plea of Shahbaz Sharif. The accused has stopped appearing in the court following acceptance of his bail plea.
FIA filed the death certificate of Maqsood peon.
The court abolished the proceeding of the case to the extent of Malik Maqsood.
FIA prosecutor told the court bank record of 19 accounts of Shahbaz Sharif has become available and record of 7 bank accounts has yet to come.
The record in respect of such properties which has become available has been submitted.
The court while adjourning the hearing of the case till September 7 accepted exemption pleas of Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz.
The court summoned both the accused persons for their indictment on next hearing.
