KARACHI: The Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) has announced its Free Media Committee for the year 2025-26.
Irshad Arif (Daily 92) has been appointed as the chairman of the committee, while Ijazul Haq (Daily Express) will serve as deputy chairman.
According to a statement issued by CPNE on Tuesday, the Free Media Committee includes Aamir Mahmood representing Sindh, Anwar Sajidi from Balochistan, Ayaz Khan from Punjab, Tahir Farooq from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Yahya Khan Sadozai from Islamabad as members.
CPNE President Kazim Khan and Secretary General Ghulam Nabi Chandio will serve as ex-officio members of the committee.
