Crafts Bazaar held to empower women and communities

Islamabad: Under the auspices of Serena Hotels in collaboration with Nomad Gallery held a crafts bazaar and film festival on Saturday. Ambassador of Portugal Frederico Silva also addressed during Inaugural ceremony of Crafts Bazaar “Empowering women and communities through indigenous crafts” at local hotel. In the upcoming events during the two days of crafts bazaar the documentaries by Nageen Hayat on Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and also on discriminatory laws in South Asia also planned to be screened. Exquisite collection of select crafts, textiles photos and ceramics will be on display. Films will be screened both days at 2.30 – 4.30 pm.
