PESHAWAR: Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr. Shahzad Bangash has directed the relevant authorities to put in place elaborate arrangements to effectively deal with any emergency amid the heat wave forecast for the province. He has directed concerned departments to complete preparations to deal any emergency situation as met office forecast seven to nine degree increase in temperature in coming week. He asked people to consume more water and cover their heads with soaked clothes while coming in open places. He said that PDMA operation centre is fully operational to deal with any emergency call on helpline 1700. He advised people to take precautionary measures during heat wave adding senior citizens and citizens should avoid unnecessary travelling. Our Correspondent
