CTO Peshawar visits city traffic police relief camp, distribute food-items

Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat distributed food items among the flood victims on Tuesday during his visit to a relief camp established by the City Traffic Police near Pir Zakuri Bridge.
On this occasion he appreciated the officials for their activities and said that those who have been rooted out by the devastated floods need public and government support.
Later, Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat distributed the relief materials to the flood victims who were staying temporarily in the camps on Dalzak Road, Mian Gujjar. He distributed milk, ghee, sugar, flour, rice and lunch boxes among the people residing in the camps.
Chief Traffic Officer said that the City Traffic Police was stand firm by the flood victims in this hour of difficulty and was actively participating in rescue activities.
He said that in order to avoid flood situation and any accident, the traffic system has been diverted at various places Nagman and Sardaryab.
We have devised an alternate traffic rout fort citizen to reach their destination because Peshawar, Charsadda and Shabqadar on Charsadda Road.
He said that City Traffic Police Peshawar has also been deployed at various places to inform the citizens about alternative routes for their convenience.
People traveling to Charsadda can also use the motorway and the Northern Bypass, he added.
He said that for the convenience of the citizens, City Traffic Police Peshawar was also informing the citizens about alternative routes on FM radio.
