Chief collector customs Muhammad Umar Mehmood and Collector Islamabad Hassan Saqib met with Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan at the Central Police Office, a police public relations officer said. He said that, during the meeting it was decided Islamabad capital police and customs department will create a joint checking system, under which legal action will be taken against non-custom paid luxury vehicles without discrimination.
Moreover, a joint legal action will also be taken against those involved in hoarding goods without paying customs duties. DNA
