Economic team led by the finance minister Ishaq Dar called on Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Shareef on Thursday.
Economic survey report of fiscal year 2022-23 was presented to PM.
Finance minister Ishaq Dar, State minister for finance Aysha Gous Pasha, Special advisor to PM Tariq Pasha and finance ministry officials were present in the meeting.
PM appreciated economic team over their struggle for economic stability and development and said despite economic challenges of previous government and devastating flood of last year economic team’s services are admirable.
Government will invest huge amount in agriculture and Information Tehcnoligy (IT) innovation in upcoming budget.
Small farmers will be equipped with automatic machines and high quality seeds.
Prime minister directed the extension in interest free loan in next budget. He said government will also give reward to farmer having high yield per acr.
