LAHORE: The Lahore deputy commissioner has issued strict instructions to close private offices as directed by the Lahore High Court in the anti-smog case. On the orders of the high court, instructions have been issued to close private offices. The deputy commissioner has issued instructions to all assistant commissioners to have the order implemented. He said the violators would be brought to the book. According to the PDMA notification, the implementation will be ensured by Jan 15. The DC further said in the directive that employees of private offices could be provided work from home facility and strict action should be taken against those who violated the notification. DNA
