ISLAMABAD: The death anniversary of poet Hafeez Jalandhari will be observed on Wednesday (21st Dec). Pakistan Muslim League and other parties and group will arrange ceremonies to tribute the legendary poet. Hafeez Jalandhari has wrote the lyrics of National Anthem of Pakistan. Hafeez Jalandhari was born on 14 January 1900 in India and after the separation he traveled to newly born country Pakistan. Government of Pakistan has awarded him Pride of Performance for his poetry and Phrase writings. He was died on 21st Dec 1982 at the age of 82 years. Online
