Democracy is not complete without overseas representation: Ch Sawar

Former Governor Punjab and Chairman “Grand Overseas Club Pvt” Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that Parliament and democracy are not complete until Overseas Pakistanis get represented in Parliament.
It emerged on Saturday during the function East London.
Treating those who send billions of foreign exchange like a stepmother cannot be tolerated in any way. All political parties of Pakistan should stand with Overseas Pakistanis beyond personal and political interests and it is the responsibility of all governments to create maximum ease and convenience for overseas Pakistanis.
On this occasion, British Councilor Zafar Ujab, Former Councilor Nazar Lodhi, Former Councilor Muhammad Sharif, Former Mayor Slough Bil Singh, Former Mayor Slough Ishrat Shah, and Former Mayor Chaudhry Mohammad Nazir were also present.
Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that the Grand Overseas Club organization is a completely non-political organization led by me that will help and guide the Overseas Pakistanis to solve their problems. The overseas community is part of my body and soul, I belong to them and they belong to me. Overseas Pakistanis should get 14 seats in the National Assembly of Pakistan in proportion to the population. It is good that all political parties of Pakistan are in favor of overseas Pakistanis getting representation in all provincial assemblies including the National Assembly in proportion to the population.
Chairman Grand Overseas Club Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that Pakistan is currently going through a difficult period economically. The positive role of overseas Pakistanis can benefit Pakistan a lot economically. Overseas Pakistanis have remitted billions of foreign exchange and invested billions in Pakistan. We will have to work together on the problems of overseas Pakistanis without any political division.
As a Governor, he maintained, I have solved the problems of overseas Pakistanis on a priority basis and I also stand with the overseas Pakistanis.
Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar appealed to overseas Pakistanis to raise their voices in favor of Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik and said that the punishment of Yasin Malik is completely against the basic principles of justice. More people should sign the petition in favor of Yasin Malik. We will take this issue to all international forums.
The host of the ceremony Former leader of Slough Borough Council and President ofQ South East Grand Overseas Club Sohail Munawar said that Overseas Pakistanis express full confidence in Chaudhry Sarwar and hope that he will continue to play a role in solving the problems of the overseas community like in the past.
Overseas Pakistanis are unpaid ambassadors of the country of Pakistan. I thank Chaudhry Sarwar and his team for making the organization the President of East London.
Ex-Mayor Slough Ishrat Shah and Ex-Mayor Chaudhry Muhammad Nazir said that overseas Pakistanis hope that Chaudhry Sarwar will represent the overseas community to the fullest.
