Orakzai
Deputy Inspector General of Police, Kohat Region, Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat , visited Orakzai today to review the security situation following recent incidents in the area.
During the visit, the DIG inspected the police posts that had come under attack in recent days and met with the deployed personnel.
In recognition of their bravery and swift response in repulsing the attacks, cash rewards were distributed among the officers who demonstrated exceptional courage.
The DIG also held meetings with local elders (masharans) to engage the community in ongoing efforts to maintain peace and stability in the region.
He emphasized the importance of community cooperation in countering militancy and appreciated the support extended by the tribal elders.
