Digital Census Training Inaugurated by DC Jacobabad

LARKANA: DC Jacobabad Muhammad Yusuf Shaikh inaugurated the training of data collection staff on computer application for the 7th digital census. Inaugurating the first day of data collection on the staff’s digital application in connection with the seventh census in Pakistan, Deputy Commissioner Jacobabad said that this is the first time that the census is being conducted on a digital basis. In which a computer tablet will be provided to the data collector. And the software application developed by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics will be available in the tablet. Three training centers have been set up in which all the staff of the three taluka’s of Jacobabad will be trained through multimedia. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Yusuf Sheikh thanked Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, Sindh Education Department, Assistant Commissioner, Mukhtiarkar, media and teachers. DC Jacobabad further said that proper training of staff is very important for proper census. The better the training, the better the census can be. If we collect statistical information correctly, our country’s decision making will be much better.
