District Peshawar leads KP-U21 Games in Karate with 145 points

District Peshawar with 145 points secured first position in Karate during theongoing Under-21 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Games. 
Tribal district Khyber clinched secondposition and secured 60 points, Karak 60 points and declared as third whileKurram district player bagged fourth position in the competition. In the threeday game competition, district Kurram won five silver medals, Abbottabad’splayer won a silver medal in 45 kg. Similarly, Zohaibof Karak won silver, Owais of Swat and Fatin of Swabi won bronze medal.
Peshawar’s Ehtesham won silver, Swat’s Irshadand Mansehra’s Osama won silver medals in the game.The final ceremonyof Under-21 KP Games was attended by secretary sports Tourism Abid Majeed asspecial guest.DirectorGeneral (DG) Sports Asfandyar Khattak, Director Youth Saleem Jan Marwat, CEOPakistan Cricket Board (PCB) KP Khursheed Khan President Karate Muhammad BabarKhan, Syed Thaqleen Shah, Azizullah Khan, Jafar Shah, Tahseenullah, Shah FaisalAdditional Secretary Finance Asif Shehab and Khalid Noor were also present onthe occasion.84 kgweightman Abdullah of Peshawar won first, Raheed of Khyber won second andMehran of Charsadda and Wasif of Swabi won third position.
OwaisChandi, Saad of Peshawar and Sher Qadir of Haripur won the bronze medal in 60 kgweight category. Abdullah of Peshawar, Saad Ali of Mansehra andHikmatullah of Abbottabad and Gul Sayar of Charsadda bagged the first, secondand third positions respectively.
