Dispute Resolve Committee (DRC) Galyat has received 145 complaints resolved 70 and sent 45 for legal proceedings.
This was stated by the DSP Galiyat Yaseen Jhanjua while briefing District Police Officer (DPO) Abbottabad Javed Iqbal during his visit to DRC Galyat on Friday.
DPO Javed Iqbal showed his satisfaction over the working of DRC Galyat and said that this is the platform where locals can resolve their issues at their door steps without spending money and effort.
It was further informed that 18 applications are in pending, eight applications were submitted on personal enmity where two of them were resolved, three were sent for legal proceedings and three were dismissed.
Giving the details of the application the Yaseen Jhanjua said that we have received 32 applications on transaction disputes, on 14 we have resolved the issues, nine were sent for legal proceedings, six were dismissed and three applications are pending.
DRC Galyat received 47 applications on property disputes, 19 were resolved, 14 were sent for legal formalities while six were dismissed. On pathway disputes DRC Galyat received five applications, two were resolved two were sent for legal formalities and one was pending, adding he said. On 12 miscellaneous applications seven were resolved and three were sent for the legal proceedings.
