SARGODHA: District Police Officer (DPO) Sargodha Touqeer Naeem on Saturday held open courts (Khuli Katcheries) at the SDPO Office Sillanwali and various locations across the area,including Union Councils Chak 129 NB,131 NB and 138 NB, to address public grievances. A large number of local residents attended the open courts and submitted applications and complaints regarding various issues. The DPO listened to the complainants and issued immediate on-the-spot directions to the concerned Station House Officers (SHOs) and Investigation Officers for the prompt resolution of their grievances. In cases involving serious offences, the DPO directed police officers to ensure timely,transparent and merit-based investigations, along with effective efforts to trace those involved.
Speaking on the occasion,DPO Touqeer Naeem said that the protection of citizens’ lives and property remained the top priority of Sargodha Police,adding that the department was committed to fulfilling this responsibility with dedication.
