PESHAWAR: District Police Officer (DPO) Khyber Imran Khan on Thursday said that resources would be utilized to conduct peaceful local body elections in the district, adding that no one would be allowed to engage in ulawfull activities on polling day. He expressed these views during his visit to the polling stations of Bazar Zakhakhel, a remote area of Khyber District for peaceful conduct of re-polling for the first round of local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). DPO visited Bazar Zakha police station in a remote area of Khyber district and inspected the security of different polling stations. On the occasion he met with the FC officers, regional leaders and elders and discussed various proposals for making the election peaceful.
