TANK: District Police Officer (DPO) Tank Abdul Samad has visited the Daman Press Club and discussed with the journalists about strengthening cooperation between police and media for maintaining peace and stability in the district. The DPO was received by the club’s president Dr Sheikh Ehsan, Vice President Adam Khan Kundi, General Secretary Muhammad Shahid and other office-bearers upon his arrival at the press club. During the interaction with journalists, Abdul Samad Khan highlighted the importance of timely exchange of information and said both police and media have a shared responsibility in promoting awareness, peace and positive values in society. He said that the journalists play an important role in identifying public issues and supporting institutional reforms, while the police are fully committed to safeguarding the lives and property of citizens. our correspondent
