Olympian Islahuddin and Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah Hockey Academy celebrated Pakistan’s 75th Independence Day with national enthusiasm. Former international hockey player Mubbashir Mukhtar was the chief guest of the event. interesting match played between Syeda Shehla Raza and Mrs. Asma Ali Shah XI was tied with 2-2 goals.
Syeda Tahirim and Sehrish Sabir scored goals on behalf of Syeda Shehla Raza XI while Mrs. Asma Captain Fatima Zahra and Amina Fatima scored goals for Asma Ali Shah XI, former international player and director of sports Sir Syed University Mubbashir Mukhtar along with academy coach Syed Sagheer Hussain and Muhammad Aslam distributed prizes.
On the occasion, the chief guest also highlighted the importance of Independence Day and informed the youth about the sacrifices of their forefathers.
