RIYADH
Pakistan while strongly condemning the drone attacks on the East-West Pipeline of Saudi Arabia has said targeting basic civilian infrastructure is flagrant violation of international laws and Saudi sovereignty and territorial integrity.
According to FO, damage was caused to East-West Pipeline of Saudi Arabia as a result of drone attacks while citizens were also injured.
Pakistan strongly condemns these attacks and targeting civilian basic infrastructure.
FO said these attacks are open violation of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia and are grave threat to peace, security and stability of region.
Reiterating its unwavering support for sovereignty and territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia Pakistan has expressed full solidarity with Saudi leadership, government and brotherly people of Saudi Arabia.
As per foreign office, Pakistan will continue its sincere efforts for peace and stability in the region.
According to Saudi foreign ministry drone attack was made from Iraqi land on Saudi East West pipeline. Pipeline was targeted in Riyadh and Medina.
Saudi foreign ministry made it clear Saudi Arabia reserves the right to take necessary steps for safety and protection of installations.
