Sardar Jehanzeb, DRO for NA-22 Mardan, Raham Zada NA-24 Charsadda, Saeed Ahmad Khan NA-31 Peshawar took their oath as DROs

The Provincial Election Commissioner Muhammad Farid Afridi on Thursday administered oath to district returning officers appointed for the by-election on four vacant National Assembly seats from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said a handout.
According to details, Sardar Jehanzeb, DRO for NA-22 Mardan, Raham Zada NA-24 Charsadda, Saeed Ahmad Khan NA-31 Peshawar took their oath as DROs.
DRO for NA-45 Kurram Muhammad Nadeem Khan has earlier taken oath.
Director elections Khushal Zada was also present on this occasion.
As per election schedule candidates could file their nomination papers till 13th August, 2022 while list of candidates will be published on 14th August, 2022.
Polling on these seats will be held on 25th September, 2022.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced that the by-election on nine National Assembly seats vacated by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will be held on Sep 25.
The decision was taken after the NA Speaker Raja Pervaiz accepted the resignation of lawmakers belonging to PTI.
As per schedule released by the ECP, the by-elections in KP would be held for the constituency of NA-22 Mardan, NA-24 Charsadda, NA-31 Peshawar, NA-45 Kurram.
