An interactive workshop on IT, Economy and Opportunities for youth was held at Alhamra (Lahore) by mutual collaboration of Government of Punjab and Voice of Punjab.

Hassan Kawar (SACM Punjab),Dr Ali Sajid (Director LSM) , Saqib Azhar (Serial entrepreneur and CEO Enablers) Saleem Ghauri (CEO & Founder NetSole) were the speakers of this workshop.A large number of Youth also attended the workshop.
This workshop aimed at motivation of Youth for e-commerce, for encouraging them to take a single step towards success.
Hassan Khawar (SACM Punjab) said that today’s event is very important for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf as PTI is the party of youth.
He said that the people of every country is the capital of country.

He further said that this is the Government of those who brought PTI into power and wanted change, a new Pakistan also those wanted a better future for their children.
In Pakistan, it is very important to involve the youth in productive activities.

Hassan Khawar said If I talk about IT, Our broad band Users are 10 Curore.Many things have changed in the world because of IT.
Now you can run your business from home in any country. You can sale your products all over the world.At the same time,you can explore any market in the world.
Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab said that earlier you had to go and buy food from the market but now you can order your food from Food Panda and many other such applications anywhere.

He said that this year, Pakistani companies raised 300 Million from online work and e-commerce. Which is a big amount as compared to the amount raised in last six years.
Hassan Khawar said that there is no shortcut in life and the one who looks for shortcut never succeeds.
SACM Punjab said that once there was a time when someone says that he want to start a new business,people would ask him if he had a family business and if he didn’t have, people would tell him as he is a fool.
But there seems a big change with the advent of the IT revolution.
Students are working online and owning there own companies. If you have money amd skill and you are hardworking then there is no shortage of investors in this country.
He further said that If you have a strong idea, funding will follow you. But you have to have that energy, passion and spark inside you.
He concluded that the Government of Punjab has launched a number of programs for supporting youth in every aspect. These include successful youth programs, skills programs, and e-employment programs. But above all, the role of the youth is very important.
Hassan Khawar, highlighted the Chief Minister Punjab’s programs for youth in a very good manner.
Speakers of workshop shared many success stories to motivate youth.
Dr Ali Sajid said that Youth can develop an application,make a smart appliance, tap into virtual reality experiences, start a blog,become an eBook/content writer or can become an internet entrepreneur.

He said that a young person can start an event planning company,open a co-working space, start meal prep business , capitalise on plants based foods, start a drop shipping business, make products for pets,sell phone accessories or do repairs.
He concluded that youth can can be successful by adopting any of these profession.One can become an online coach,start CIA for websites become a web developer, start a podcast,become a social media influencer,create online courses become an emarketing consultant.
Saqib Azhar concluded the workshop by saying that one must be having leadership qualities.
He said that we are looking forward to generate seven crore Dollars by e-commerce.
Overall it was a very informative workshop for Youth.
It was a successful one as speakers motivated youth for doing something on a broader page.
All speakers must have influenced youth for taking a single step towards fulfilment of their dreams.
Youth is now being forced to think out of the box to find a way to make money. Over the last decade, the Internet and social media platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Shopify, Etsy, eBay, or Amazon, have made it possible for young entrepreneurs a chance to own their own business.
E-commerce is more convenient as people don’t want to visit physically to the store to buy goods and take services. They usually want all goods and services online, which is very easy and flexible.
E-commerce gives you marketing opportunities as your website is one of the best marketing tools your business has, not only can the use of SEO when building your site lead to more chances of your business getting found in search engines.
E-commerce increases your reach,Because of the access to the internet, many people across the world can view your website at any time, which means those who are looking to expand their businesses which can lead you to gain larger audience.
E-commerce can broaden your brand, as it is a creative mode to take your brand from traditional brick to an innovative, well-loved brand. By offering a good product every time with online customer service, blogs and social media, your business is no longer a singular store.
