ISLAMABAD: Meeting of cabinet Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has been summoned. According to sources ECC meeting under finance minister will consider 11-point agenda. Approval will be given to government guarantee of Rs 1 billion for launching Pakistan social impact bond. Grant amounting to Rs 1.88 billion is likely to be approved for Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company. Funds amounting to Rs 536 million are likely to be approved for digital initiative of ministry of information. The summary regarding restructuring of PARAL under FBR is included in the agenda of ECC. Development grant of Rs 524 million will be approved for SIFC. Under agriculture package of Prime Minister the outstanding arrear of Agriculture Development Bank is likely to be approved. Comprehensive plan will be considered to rationalize wheat price on basis of subsidy for Gilgit-Baltistan. Approval of technical grant for commerce ministry under head of subsidy is included in agenda. DNA
