Shah expressed highly worrisome over state of economic conditions, saying that directionless policies have never yield any positive results as same is the case with incumbent government, which has added economic owes rather to take tangible steps to bring all things into order and focused on power and surviving in politics.
Serious initiatives are critical to overcome the prevalent food scarcity and rising malnutrition/hunger situation in the country, Shah asserted while mentioning acute shortages of staple food items like wheat, sugar etc.
It is a matter of grave concern that Pakistan, despite being an agricultural country, is confronted with food scarcity, the party chief added.
The party chief warned that the country is heading toward a serious economic crisis owing to depleting forex exchange reserves.
Faiq said voters are bewildered by mainstream political parties during electioneering and their towering claims, commitments such as ‘Roti’, ‘Kapra’ and ‘Makan’ and creation of jobs, business opportunities under their ‘so-called’ manifesto always remained empty and fallen on ground.
“We want to remove formula of old ‘wine in new bottle’ which is mostly relating to pick and choice and bestowed ‘blue-eyed’ people”,
He made it clear that the tendency to wait for ‘turn’ or bestowing favours cannot bring real democracy.
Faiq asked to vote for a new manifesto and political forces by rejecting the politics of hollow slogans.
He emphasized the tendency to ‘wait for turn’ must be eliminated.
Pakistan needs a sincere and honest leadership, which can steer the country out from the prevailing crisis, Shah stressed.
Otherwise, he warned the situation will be further aggravated and no one will be ready to defuse tension and control over it.
