Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) while issuing notice to JUI-F for not holding intra party election has summoned JUI-F head Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
JUI-F has come on the radar of ECP after PTI
It has been told that ECP has summoned Maulana Fazlur Rehman today (Thursday) where a 4-member commission under member ECP Nisar Durrani will hear the case because JUI-F has not held intra party election so far.
Earlier ECP had deprived PTI of its electoral symbol for not holding intra party election.
ECP while summoning Sardar Akhtar Mengal, head of Balochistan National Party (BNP) Mengal group , Aimal Wali Khan president of Awami National Party and Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman Amir JI on September 4 has also issued notices to them.
Notices were issued for not issuing 5 percent tickets to women.
The summon notices for September 4 have been issued to 12 political parties in connection with case pertaining to implementation of section 206 of election act. Saad Rizvi , head of Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan and Khurram Nawaz Gandapur leader of Pakistan Awami Tehreek are included among them. They have been issued notices for not allocating 5 percent tickets to women.
