Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has linked the matter of removal of Imran Khan as chairman of PTI to intra party elections.
A 3-mwmber bench of ECP presided over by the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) took up for hearing the case regarding disqualification and removal of Imran Khan from chairmanship of PTI Tuesday.
Barrister Gauhar submitted his power of attorney from Imran Khan side saying reply will be filed on next hearing.
The counsel said during the hearing of PTI intra party election case intra party elections have been completed.
CEC remarked the point in the case is election of Imran Khan as chairman of PTI;
The ECP linked the intra party election case to Imran Khan party chairmanship case.
The hearing of the case was adjourned till January 10..
