ISLAMABAD: Islamabad capital police Industrial Area police station team has arrested eight gamblers red handed and recovered cash, mobile phones, gambling tools from their possession, a Police Public Relation Officer said. He said that, following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city and protect the lives and property of citizens. Following these directions, a Industrial Area police team during a raid arrested eight gambles red handed and recovered cash, mobile phones and gambling tools from their possession. Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. CPO/ DIG Operations appreciated the performance of the police team and added that it is the prime responsibility of police to provide relief to the citizens and every possible effort would be made to ensure it.
