Mortar shell blast leaving eight dead and four injured in the katcha area of kandhkot.
At least eight people including six minor children and two women were died while three others sustained serious injuries after Mortar shell exploded at katcha area of kandhkot here on Wednesday morning.
The tragic incident was incident took place in the village of baghi Ali sabzoi when a family was breaking the abandoned mortar of the rocket launcher which they found from an unknown place early in the morning which left eight people dead including Niaz Ahmed, Ayaz Ali, Hanifaan, Zulifiqar, Zubair, Rukhsana, Qurban and Shahzado while injured were masmaat Khadija, Shaista Khatoon, shah Ali and one an other.
The incident has caused a wave panic harassment in the area. After incident a heavy contingent of local police and Sindh Rangers rushed to spot and shifted injured and bodies to DHQ hospital for treatment and legal formalities while cordoned of the entire area and started search any other possible of the shell mortar in the area.
