ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended eight outlaws from different areas of the city during the last 24 hours and recovered weapons with ammunition from their possession, a public relations officer said. He said that, following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city. Following these directives, the Kirpa police team arrested an accused namely Mohsin and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. The Lohi Bher police team arrested an accused namely Ali Nadeem and recovered one 9mm pistol with ammunition from his possession, while police team also arrested an accused namely Sajjad involved in illegally gas refilling. Likewise, the Bhara Kahu police team arrested an accused namely Nadeem Khan and recovered one 9mm pistol with ammunition from his possession. DNA
