Election Commission has prepared election code of conduct and decided to release along with the election schedule.
Election Commission has prepared code of conduct in consultation with political parties and the suggestions of political parties were also included. It is said in code of conduct that political parties will not speak against ideology of Pakistan and Pakistan’s sovereignty and independence.
Political parties will avoid mocking election commission during election campaign. Sources told that it is mentioned in code of conduct that political parties and candidates shall refrain from gifts, inducements or bribes to dissuade anyone.
They have to fully cooperate with security forces for the safety of political parties, candidate election staff and poling agents.
