The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Volleyball Association elections completed for the next four years. It was held under the chairmanship of Senior Vice President Faqir Muhammad Awan, in which representatives of DI Khan, Bannu, Kohat, Malakand, Mardan, Hazara and Peshawar Divisions participated, Badminton Secretary Amjad Khan from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Olympic Association, Directorate of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Coach Wasifullah and Muhammad Javed of Pakistan Volleyball Federation participated as observers.
The participants of the meeting unanimously approved the panel of officials for the next four years of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Volleyball Association. Shaukat Ali was elected as Deputy Chairman, Khalid Waqar Chamkani as President, Faqir Muhammad Awan as Senior Vice President and Ismail Shah as Finance Secretary.
The newly elected President Khalid Waqar thanked all the officials and reiterated that he will take measures for the promotion and development of volleyball in the province.
He said that there was a lot of talent volleyball in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Most of the players in the senior and junior teams of Pakistan volleyball team belonged to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
