Electoral reforms, legislation critical to cope with present crisis: Faiq

Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has stressed the institutional reforms is critical to cope with prevailing crisis situation. He urged the legal institutions to immediately disqualify such people.

He noted markets of elected representatives have been set up in the federal capital Islamabad.

This is a joke with the constitution, law and people, he added.

Faiq while talking to reporters here on Friday urged the legal institutions to immediately disqualify such people.

He asked the people to hold accountability and assessment of leaders who have been put on sale.

The ATP chief said it is highly surprising that the electoral system has lost its identity.

He views competent and young people won’t come forward until the reforms and delivering of justice.

He said reforms agenda which had been proposed by his party should be enforced with letter and spirit, hoping that the proposal would bring positive and constructive change as well as ensure public authority and justice to people.

Shah observed that defamation is being carried with Pakistani internally and abroad owing to prevailing the scenario in the country.

This game should be halted immediately, he stressed.

The party leader condemned that no one is paying heed to miseries of people, as this has become gymnasium, wherein bodybuilders are fighting.

He emphasized that the day of people’s victory will be, when their authority and justice to be ensured at every level.

Shah said that the struggle of his party will soon produce very positive results.
