KHYBER: Driver of an escalator was killed during the National Logistic Cell(NLC) terminal construction project here in Torkham on Sunday. Station House Officer, police station,Landi Kotal Ishrat Shinwari said that the driver of the escalator was busy on a hilly top during the NLC terminal construction scheme when debris came on him, buried him under it. Soon after the mishap, the nearby workers, NLC officials, police and locals rushed to the site and retrieved the body, however before shifting to hospital he passed away, the official said.
