On August 14th, the West Park in Munich, Germany, was abuzz with excitement as overseas Pakistanis gathered to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day.
The event was a vibrant display of Pakistani culture, with various stalls showcasing traditional clothing and cuisine from all four provinces of Pakistan. The festivities kicked off with a flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by a special dua for the unity and prosperity of Pakistan. Kids and adults alike enjoyed a range of activities, including quiz, games, face painting, and a Photo Booth.
The air was filled with the sweet sounds of Pakistani music, with live performances by the kids attendees. As the day drew to a close, the community came together for a special prayer, seeking blessings for Pakistan’s progress and prosperity.
The celebration was a testament to the strong bond between the Pakistani diaspora and their homeland, and a showcase of the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan.
