Policymakers, diplomats, economists, and development experts gathered at a high-level forum hosted by the Sustainable Development Policy Institute to celebrate 75 years of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations and discuss the future trajectory of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The event, titled “Celebrating Long-Term Pak-China Cooperation,” also marked the launch of SDPI’s report, Charting the Evolution from CPEC’s First Phase to Its Transformative Second Phase, Gwadar Pro reported. The report says, speakers described the Pakistan-China partnership as a rare example of sustained strategic cooperation. The emphasized the need for institutional reforms, regulatory consistency, and stronger economic coordination to unlock the full potential of bilateral ties.
