Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah has urged superior judiciary, legal fraternity and public segments to work together and find out to viable solution of all issues. He assured that his party is ready to provide a strategy and action plan in this regard.
Noting that democracy has been used to prolonged fascism, dictatorship power in the country, Shah viewed neither democracy had come in ranks of political parties nor democratic system strengthened in government, as objectives were only personality-based governance and promotion of inheritance politics, he added.
Making clear that real democracy couldn’t come until delegating power to competent public segments, the ATP chief stressed that the door of politics based on inheritance and personality should be shut besides corruption could be eliminated through public authority.
Faiq was talking to lawyers and noted figures here at the party’s central secretariat on Tuesday.
Stressing that the legal and media fraternity are needed to create awareness for rule of law, Mr Shah demanded steps must be taken to bring up people from the union council (UC) to central level, Shah stressed.
Only personality monopoly is being nurtured instead of democracy in rank of political parties, which must be removed forthwith, the party leader noted.
Currently fascism and dictatorship in the country is being fostered in the garb of democracy, Faiq asked lawyers, judges and public segments should work together and sort to viable and durable solution of all issues and gave full assurance to provide strategy and action plan in this regard.
Calling youth as the prime source of capital and development, he asked to take pragmatic steps for uplift of the youth force, the ATP chief emphasized youth abilities in politics and trade and industry should be fully tapped and take a complete advantage.
Stressing that every profession needed to be made bound by democratic, legal and ethical values to make it viable, Shah made it clear that rule of law doesn’t come without them.
Strongly denouncing the chaos, which is going on in the country, the ATP chief said that it is only a game of power, saying that every institution is fighting against the other.
Noting that the economy and society badly shattered owing to the current ‘Tug of war’, Shah termed this present ‘One Man Show’ and politics based on inheritance and personality should be removed by formulation of a joint board, as a result of that a collective leadership, wisdom and strategy will come.
Faiq said that it is easy to talk about the rule of law, but it is difficult to take practical steps.
Instead of making any other thing sacred, he viewed only law and ethics as sacred.
