Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has called for effectively unleashing the potential of youth and abundant natural resources to pull the country out from prevailing economic turmoil and tackle the other challenges.
Shah while speaking at a workers convention organized by the party’s youth wing here on Monday termed the youth force as the major source of the country’s development which should be exploited with optimal level.
He said his party has proposed a holistic program to utilize the youth skills for their betterment and prosperous future.
Implementation of the proposal should be made so that it will stop rising ‘braindrain’ of the skilled-full youth from the country, he stressed.
On the occasion, the ATP central and provincial leaders, youth activists and students of various educational institutions and others were present in a large number.
He urged the youth and intellectuals to come forward and jointly sort out solutions to the problems that were being faced by the country as whole.
Commenting on the prevailing political scenario, Faiq remarked that the incumbent rulers have put the country at stake to just stay in power.
He continued the country’s political situation has now become grim and quite intricate.
Shah went on to say that confrontation between parliament and superior judiciary, and the battle between government and opposition for power had concluded at ‘point of no return’, and its solution being laying in only unity and dialogue.
He questioned: “Who will put a bell around the cat’s neck”?
Currently, everything, including constitution, law and moral values are at stake, he noted.
Someone is confronted before the judiciary and others rise up against institutions, the ATP chief remarked.
He added no one has nurtured democracy and ethical values.
Regarding the quagmire economic conditions, the party’s chief said the situation is deteriorating owing to delay in another tranche of the IMF, even friendly countries didn’t offer any help in the current scenario.
He maintained no one is concerned with miseries of people and the country.
Shah said politics-based on personality and personal interest has paralyzed the whole system while people and economy had adversely affected.
He vowed his party will continue to raise up for public rights, authority and powers at every forum.
The ATP chairman urged the politicians to show passion and adopt maximum restraint policy and should form a joint board that should be comprised on the impartial people.
