PESHAWAR
Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah has condemned the attack on a Pakistan’s mission in Kabul, Afghanistan in which a security guard was wounded and what, he called “an assassination attempt” on the head of the mission Ubaidur Rehman Nizamani.
Shah in a statement issued here on Saturday demanded to conduct a probe into the sad incident and involved people should be exposed and give them exemplary punishment.
According to media reports, the head of mission, Ubaid Ur Rehman Nizamani, was the target of an attack on its embassy compound, Pakistan’s foreign ministry said on Friday, adding that a Pakistani security guard was critically injured in the attack.
The ATP chairman warned the growing lawlessness in the war-ravaged Afghanistan would prove detrimental for the whole world.
He emphasized Pakistan and its friendly countries should jointly make efforts for restoration of peace in the region.
The current economic and human crisis will be reached in its extreme, If the 1.5billion people will be affected by the fragile security situation, Shah warned.
He called for the halting of ‘the cross border adventurism’.
The Afghan government should give priority to the establishment of peace, Shah stressed.
The party leader stressed that stringent measures are needed to be taken alongside bordering with neighbouring countries.

He prayed for speedy recovery of injured people in the incident.
