Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party Muhammad Faiq Shah said that government and relevant stakeholders need to jointly outline holistic policy to restore confidence of foreign investors and to enhance trade and export.
On Saturday, Mr Shah commented on a statement of Mr Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC), asserting a peaceful atmosphere is paramount important to attract local as well as foreign investment.
He hoped CPEC phase-II would further generate economic activities and provide employment opportunities in the region.
He, however, emphasized that projects should be completed in the stipulated period, initiated under the CPEC.
The ATP chief expressed satisfaction over progress made for enabling an environment for investment under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SFIC).
He demanded an emergency policy for enhancing export, and overseas Pakistan investment, investment for diplomacy, manufacturing industry and agriculture.
Faiq said his party will make Pakistan a hub of investment as it prepared a comprehensive sketch with assistance of experts and internationally.
He urged the proposed plan should be implemented with true spirit to make the country a major center of trade and economic activities.
The party leader said they are ready to provide services without any perks and incentives and office, if institutions would cooperate.
Economic downturn is heading to its extreme, there will be massive destruction if not stopped forthwith, he added.
Faiq demanded outlining an emergency policy for enhancing export, and overseas Pakistan investment, investment for diplomacy, manufacturing industry and agriculture and we have designed a complete draft in this regard.
The party leader said political and legal tug of war, dispute and collision are inflicting colossal loss to the economy, which should be addressed through constitution and law.
Talented, competent/skillful youth, experts and international reputed researchers are part of ATP team, through their assistance, policy and roadmap of progress should be crafted, and ensure its practical enforcement, Shah stressed.
